On May 25, 2023, the Academy of Sciences hosted the Scientific Symposium on “CONTEMPORARY TECHNIQUES IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN HUMAN GENETICS”.
This conference was directed by Prof. Academician Ilia MIKEREZI and Prof. Dr. Dhurata BOZO from the Sports University of Tirana.
Prof. Dr. Dhurata BOZO presented the study “Evaluation of biochemical, nutritional, and genetic indicators of muscular response to physical activity in young people and their relationship with obesity and lifestyle” with authors Prof. Dr. Dhurata BOZO, Cand. Dr. Marsida BUSHATI, Dr. Matteo BERTELLI, and Dr. Kristjana DHULI.
This conference was also attended by SUT candidates project workers. Dr. Marsida BUSHATI, Dr. Orkida KOSTA, Dr. Jonida BALLAD, and MSc Bertina HOXHA.
The presented study is part of a two-year research project being developed in collaboration with these institutions as part of the UST-MAGI EUREGIO cooperative agreement.
