Mr. Erlin Samimi
Director of Directorate of Program Development and Digitalization of Academic – Scientific Services.
Erlin Samimi was born in Berat – Albania, is married and the father of a daughter.
He graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Informatics.
After some experiences as a computer scientist in some private companies, in July 2010 he became part of the Sports University of Tirana with the task of IT Specialist. In 2018 he was appointed Director of Support Services at this university and in 2021 he was appointed Director of Program Development and Digitalization of Academic-Scientific Services at the SUT Rectorate.
He has conducted several trainings at home and abroad in the field of information technology and management of sports facilities.
Mr. Samimi has also been involved in international projects such as: Erasmus + TEAVET Project “Development of teacher skills for a comprehensive system of vocational education and training in Albania” and is currently a member of the Erasmus + EntrAl Project – “Entrepreneurial skills – for a modern education in Albania”.
He has been and continues to be a member of the Editorial Board of the periodical informative and promotional magazine FOKUS -UST and is the technical responsible for the Training and Continuing Education Center at the Sports University of Tirana.
Fluent in Italian and English.
